Which size fits me?

Based on your body height, we generally recommend:

  • M: 169 cm – 181 cm
  • L: 182 cm – 200 cm

If you're between sizes, choose the smaller size for a more agile ride and the larger one for a smoother ride.

YIWU+ Electric

The YIWU+ as an e-bike. It's powered by a Zehus motor that sits entirely in the rear hub: motor, battery and electronics in one unit.

A torque sensor measures how hard you pedal and adds support to match, up to 25 km/h. The battery is charged directly on the bike with the included charger. A full charge gives you a range of 50km in Eco mode, and thanks to recuperation the motor recovers extra energy along the way.

Every e-bike is converted by the official Zehus Service Center Switzerland in Basel.

HOW IT WORKS

Everything in one hub.

Motor, 200 Wh battery, torque sensor and electronics sit together in the rear wheel. The system weighs around 3 kg and leaves the lines of the bike untouched.

You pedal, the motor follows.

The torque sensor measures how hard you pedal and adds power to match, up to 25 km/h. No jerks, no throttle.

Controlled by app.

Choose a mode, set the support level, check the battery. A handlebar remote is available as an option.

Pedal backwards to recharge.

The motor then works as a generator and recovers up to 20 % of the battery.

Charge on the bike.

Plug the charger into the rear axle and you're done. The battery stays where it is.

The motor

Zehus: a proven system.

Zehus develops all-in-one hub motors in Italy and has been building them for over ten years. The Halos is the third generation of the system.

Developed in Italy

Zehus is based near Como and has been part of the international ELDOR Corporation since 2019 (see website).

Serviced in Switzerland

Cenci Sport is the official Zehus Service Center Switzerland and represents Zehus fully in Switzerland. That means short response times and quick help.

2-year warranty

Motor, battery and electronics are covered for 2 years. Repairs, warranty work and replacements are all handled by the Zehus Service Center Switzerland in Basel.

Good to know.

What happens when the battery is empty?

You keep riding like a regular bike. The motor doesn't brake you, and the 6-speed Shimano gears work as usual.

How do I charge the battery?

Plug the included charger into the port on the rear hub. The battery stays in the hub, so there's nothing to remove.

Do I need a display?

No. You set the mode once in the ZEHUS app (App Store · Google Play) and then just ride. A handlebar remote is available as an option.

Pickup or delivery?

You choose at checkout: pick it up fully set up at the Zehus Service Center Switzerland in Basel, or have it delivered by Planzer (in a box, 95% assembled, signature required). Both are included in the price.

Which size fits me?

M fits riders 169–181 cm tall, L fits 182–200 cm. If you're in between, choose the smaller size for a more agile ride and the larger one for a smoother ride.

Who is my contract partner?

For the YIWU+ bike, fenders and lights it's MAY International AG. For the motor and its installation it's Cenci Sport / evado gmbh (Riehen), the official Zehus Service Center Switzerland. MAY acts as an intermediary, so you order and pay everything in one go.

How do warranty and service work?

2 years from MAY on the bike, 2 years from Cenci Sport / evado gmbh on the Zehus system. For repairs, the rear wheel is collected from you and brought back. Free within warranty; outside warranty the transport costs CHF 90.

The ZEHUS Rider's Guide (PDF) explains all functions of the motor and the app.

Do you deliver outside Switzerland?

For now, the YIWU+ Electric is available in Switzerland only.
